Come and enjoy a day trip to Champagne. Initially, a stop is planned in Reims, the largest city in the Champagne region. Your guide will show you in the morning the magnificent Notre-Dame de Reims cathedral. This Roman Catholic Cathedral is one of the most impressive in Western Europe. With an elevation of its bell towers of more than 80 meters, this cathedral is also very famous because it was the site of the coronations of the kings of France. Indeed, almost all of the kings of France until Louis XVI were crowned in this cathedral. It is in French tradition and culture an essential place in the history of France.

Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is one of the most beautiful achievements of a Gothic building in France. You will discover the secrets of this cathedral and its almost 800 years old history!

The rest of this excursion is devoted to discovering an area linked to the production of Champagne. During the whole afternoon you will have the opportunity to visit one of the most beautiful farms. You will discover the processes and the different stages of making Champagne. During the excursion there is also a visit to a Champagne cellar. A professional will assist you to explain the different bottling and conservation processes of this drink, which is so well known throughout the world.

For this excursion, all round-trip transportation during the day is taken care of from Paris. In addition, a lunch break of around an hour and a half is planned in Reims at midday.
